Spider webs

With Halloween coming up. I will post a really easy Halloween idea.

You will need:
Black paper (any color will work)
Plastic spiders (we got ours from the dollar store)
White paint
Glue (I hot glued them)
Box with sides
Golf balls

Put the paper in the box. Squirt some paint on the balls and let the kids shake it up. Glue on a spider.

Use those broken crayons one more time!

Don’t throw your extra crayons away! Have a little fun peeling, sorting, can watching them melt!

Pull out all your old crayons.  I know if you do daycare or just have a couple kids at home you probably have a bunch of broken crayons. Here is a perfect craft that will help use them up.

Here is what you need:
Valentines Cookie Sheet

Let the kids peel away.
Bake at 200 for 20 mins or tell melted.
Then let them cool.
If you are impatient like me or they stick, pop them in the freezer.

What Would You Do?

This is my spunky little daughter! This is what happened at nap time today. My little munchkin just turned three and clearly is full of creativity. She thinks she is too big for naps. So I hear her talk, play and read books as long as she in in her room a quite I thought I was safe. I run a daycare and I am not ready to give up my few mins of quite time I get when she actually sleeps.

So what would you do if your little one did this? My response, “hold on,  let me take a picture!” I can’t help but laugh. If you are a parent something like this will or has happened to you 🙂

Real tip, if your little pumpinks do this. Wet wipes take off marker. Yes, permanent markers too.
Thanks to the magic of these wet wipes!

She is marker free!
