Color Noodles

Have you done this? It was actually way easier then I would have thought.

Here is what you need:

Food coloring
Rubbing alcohol
Ziplock baggies

Put noodles in a bag and add a few drops of food coloring to the bag. Then add about a tablespoon of the rubbing alcohol and the pasta.

Seal the bag and mix up tell all noodles are covered and you have the color you want. Let set a few hours.

I used cookie sheets with wax paper. Then put the noodles on top to dry. We let the pasta dry outside for a few hours.

This is a perfect craft because you can make a million more crafts with it 🙂

Would You Like Some Worms With That?

This wormy drink is sure to put a smile on your littles faces. This is something you can put together quickly. Bonus kids think it is super funny to drink worms.

All you will need:

gummy worms

ice cube tray

apple Juice

drop of food coloring (optional)

For the ice cubes I just used water. We put them into green bug juice. The bug juice was apple juice with one drop green food coloring.

Make Your Own Sprinkles

This is a tip every parent should know. Who dosn’t like sprinkles? I am all about cheap and easy 😉

Make you own sprinkles

Here is what you need:
Food coloring
A plastic baggie

That is it! Put about a 1/4 cup sugar in a baggie and a drop off food coloring.  Close the bag and mix and/or shake tell mixed. If you want a darker color add more you will need to let it dry a while. Pour out on a plate to dry.

Ghost craft

This is more of a tip then a craft idea. Pour out a small about of glue out onto a plate and use paint brushes rather then giving your littles each a glue bottle. This is awsome it saves on mess and it will also save you lots of glue.

We used:
Crayon to draw out ghost shape
Packing peanuts (came in a package yesterday)
Paint brushes

Banana Tattoos

Banana tattoos are not only a fun craft but a sneaky little way to make fruits fun. My son is going to love this in his luch box tomorrow 🙂

I know you have a bunch of these temporary tattoos laying around your house. Plus this way you don’t have to scrub them off your kids.

What is for lunch?

Kids sick of pb and j? Mine either but I can’t imagine eating it every day so here are a few simple options. These are all things we have around our house anyways.

This one I used toothpicks cut up a string cheese and used lunch meat. 2 min cute lunch! This water bottle is the best reusable one I found http:// 5.99 on Amazon Prime.

Ants on a log. I was a little sceptical but he ate 3 out 4 and licked the peanut butter off the 4th. The one side is string cheese cut up. This was because I wasn’t sure if he would be able to open it. Other side is grapes and a few yogurt covered raisins. I will say this water bottle leaked all over 😦
