Banana Tattoos

Banana tattoos are not only a fun craft but a sneaky little way to make fruits fun. My son is going to love this in his luch box tomorrow 🙂

I know you have a bunch of these temporary tattoos laying around your house. Plus this way you don’t have to scrub them off your kids.

What everyone with kids should buy!

I know, I know paint is messy! Guess what? Kids are messy! I have learned the hard way let them get there creativity out on paper. You don’t need million colors. Mixing is a great lesson for kids. You don’t even need paper my kids thoroughly enjoy searching out and painting anything they can find. Some our recent favorites are leaves, rocks, faces, and we use paper too!

Here is a peek into our weekend. After a long week in the house. I can’t wait to get out and enjoy the fall air. When you work from home it is an added joy to get out.

I am so in love with this place. It is a traditional trip for us. If you follow me you will learn I love traditions.  It is local and at $3 (hay ride included). It is a perfect price for a little family time with my Pumpkins.

It’s Apple Season!

Fall is here why not embrace it. I am always trying to make snack more fun. And as always use what we have already. A quick peek in the kitchen and I grab apples, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and marshmallows. I melted the peanut butter for 30 seconds and then drizzled over apples.
*these are great with caramel too!

Spiders for snack!

We love to play with our food!

No more browning apples for lunch.

I am going to do this for my sons lunch tomorrow 🙂

Writings of a Mrs Mommy

This is about a year or so too late for my gang, although I still cut up their apples after school because they prefer it that way and also because they do get wiggly teeth that make it hard to bite into apples.

But I cannot be alone when I say; I have no idea how many apples I have cut up and continue to cut up, for children, in my lifetime! They’ve come around to eating the peel *yes*.  I used to have to core, peel and slice 10 apples, easily a day for my family!

What is for lunch?

Kids sick of pb and j? Mine either but I can’t imagine eating it every day so here are a few simple options. These are all things we have around our house anyways.

This one I used toothpicks cut up a string cheese and used lunch meat. 2 min cute lunch! This water bottle is the best reusable one I found http:// http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E0ICUCE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1411478622&sr=8-1 5.99 on Amazon Prime.

Ants on a log. I was a little sceptical but he ate 3 out 4 and licked the peanut butter off the 4th. The one side is string cheese cut up. This was because I wasn’t sure if he would be able to open it. Other side is grapes and a few yogurt covered raisins. I will say this water bottle leaked all over 😦
